Front License Plate Removal!!

Hey guys...what do you think its the best way to fix up my front end. I NEED the front plate gone, I cannot take it anymore!

I am thinking of striping in the future, similar the thin Roush stripes, do you think that would be effective in covering the holes, or would you see a depression in the stripes, would I have to fill and then stripe over?

Any other ideas? I find those little filler caps kinda tacky.

How much would it cost just to get it filled and repainted? Would the whole bumper need to get sprayed?

They sell a Bondo bumper repair kit.... Requires a lot of work.

And yes, your bumper will have to be resprayed or else there'll be two visible spots with filler.

As for the stripes, you could try to make them cover the hole, but it might make a dimple in the stripe.

hahahah FUCK all that ! Get some platic body panel push pins from lowes or home depot, Paint them the color of your car and shove them in there ! Here is a pic for you of my ride with them in.

I refuse to put a plate on mine. I got two tickets this year. On the way to pay the $115 fine is when I got my second lol.
If you don't mind paying a fine just go for it

I argue the fact that the HIGH end mercedes and BMW's dont have to have them on and that mine never came with a bracket if the state wants me to wear it they need to provided the funds for me to do so ... WORKS EVERYTIME !

I traded my Mercedes for the Mustang & the only ticket I got in the Mercedes was for not having a front license plate. I didn't have a bracket for one either & that excuse did not get me out of the ticket.
I told the Mustang salesman the front license plate story so while I was signing the papers he slapped a front plate on the Mustang. I was so pissed. My neighbor offered to sign off on my front license plate tickets.

Get one of those hideaway license plate holders. Im putting a CA Special bumper on soon and plan on doing that. Then when not driving it, just tuck it out of sight under the car.

thats what I would like to do, my budyd has that on his GT500, but I need to do something about the stupid holes, prob gonna just have to do the caps

hahahaha its sooo true! My father has a C6 corvette, and has never used a front plate since purchasing it, made sure the dealer did not put it on. Doesn't put it in the window either, and he has never been touched by a ticket.

Geez. The cops in my area are crazy anal about it. The guy that patrols my neighborhood used to write me tickets weekly while the car was parked out in front of my damn house! Eventually, the front plate went back on. The funny thing about it is I never ever managed to get a ticket while actually driving.

I hate having the plate up front. I'm gonna get the CS bumper as well and get the hideaway. I just can't afford to pay tickets.
