Wheelcraft does it and they come out very nice. They can only add to the inside of the rim. You would probably need the wheel polished after they weld in the extra width.

James at WeldCraft quoted me $180 per wheel for up to 3 inches to the inside. This was for the stock 17" Bullits.

Looks like I might be doing that then.. Cuz I love the bullits I just hate the fact that the rear are not wider...

Would an inch and half work or just an inch?

Nope, Just the rear.

Right now I have 255/40 18 on the rears that I could easily just replace the fronts with

Could it be possible to run anything high than a 45 with a wide tire and still have clearance?

What tire size should I go with if I widen 2 in?
My 2 cents... decide on the tire you want first, and then widen the wheel to fit it. Almost all tire manufaturers websites will list the appropriate wheel width(s) for each tire. If you do it the other way around, you might find yourself in a situation where you can't use (or get) the tire you want. It may not matter in the end, but better safe than sorry.

Also, can ask you a favor? If you call them, ask them what it would cost to narrow a 17x9 chrome bullitt wheel.

Are all decent choices. The 295/35 are closest to stock 27" diamater

That depends on the width. If the overall diameter is say 29" or under, and the tire does not stick out past the fender lip, you should be OK.

Gotcha and will do on the asking for a quote for narrowing

My 2 cents again... 27" is on the short side for a twin screw car on street tires (unless maybe the rear end is still 3.31... but even then I prefer 28"+).
