Took the car to the 1/8 mile track for test and tune. I only made 3 clean passes, two with the Amazon tuning and one with Bama 91 performance. I loaded the wrong Bama race tune, so I couldn't run that. I may need to make a few more runs but so far it seems my dyno tune made the best times. Here are two of my fastest runs today.

Run 1:
60' 1.899
330' 5.580
1/8 8.636 at 81.459

Run 2:
60' 1.852
330' 5.532
1/8 8.602 at 81.014

Run 3 with 91 performance. I don't know if it was the track or the tune but this one seemed to bog on the launch.

60' 2.132
330' 5.732
1/8 8.835 at 79.885

Here are my three fastest run with my dyno tune. I was running the dyno tune almost exclusively but I can guarantee the Bama race tune would have ran the same.

Run 1:
60' 1.746
330' 5.353
1/8 8.399 at 81.808

Run 2:
60' 1.824
330' 5.438
1/8 8.485 at 81.682

Run 3:
60' 1.799
330' 5.438
1/8 8.500 at 81.235

D/A for both days are about the same.

Your mph seems off, i had the same mods and ran 85mph in the 1/8 all the time..but my 60's were 1.65 so maybe that is it?

Do you remember the track conditions such as elevation and temp? Maybe the 1.65 did help or your is making a little more power than mine.

the tune you recieved from us is a prelim basic tune..it is sent out purposely on the rich side until it can be fine tuned based on the datalogs and AF readings you provide back to us..you will receive custom tuning support from us for as long as you own the vehicle but you have to let us know how the car is functioning and that can only be done with datalogs..when you had a dyno tune done.. the tuner had a starting point using a base tune then fine tuned it based on the data he got from the dyno runs.. that is what we will be doing also but remotely and working with you via email..I apologize to you if this was not explained to you when you placed your order

did you datalog and get AF during any of your track runs?

so basically you are comparing a tune that isnt finished yet to a dyno tune that is already completed..

Thanks for explanation. I do remember reading the custom tuning policy about datalogging but when I drove the car on the street, it seemed spot on. I need to do some research on how to datalog. I have never done it. After work, I will try to stop at the dyno shop right down the road from me and check the A/F. I will see if he can help me with data logging.

if you need help just call us and Rick will walk you through the process..most of our customers use a portable wide band installed with sensor in the mid exhaust piping to provide the AF..we dont use tail pipe AF #s..so please specific what type of AF process you will be using..Rick will need specific parameters datalogged:
RPM
Coolant Temp
MAF counts
MAF Flow #s
Inlet Air Temp
Downstream Air Temp
STFT
LTFT
Pressure Drop Across the Injectors (fuel rail pressure)
Fuel Pump Duty Cycle
Spark
Battery Voltage
TPS counts or voltage

i think its kinda weird that u have cams, udp's, gears and cmpd's and im running faster than you.
all i have is jlt/bbr tune, x-pipe and steeda axlebacks and eibach sportlines

i went to the track saturday and ran a 8.4 at 84.7mph with 2.0 60ft on street tires

is there something im missing?

(not bashing or anything, dont take it the wrong way)

Good question. I have only ran faster than 8.4 once. My 1/8 are usually in the 8.5 to 8.6 range and this is with a 1.7 to 1.8 60'. The car makes decent power. It made 322/311 on the dyno. Could it be the Cali gas?

It's a 5 speed. I am shifting around 6500 RPMS but I am not speed shifting. Car makes peak power just above 6K

and he has a 91 octane tune being in CA .. are you running on 93 octane?

there are so many factors that make ETs what they are..

The D/A yesterday at the track yesterday was just under 1500'. When I made my 8.399 pass, something happened to the weather data but I belive the D/A was very close to the same.
