Killer Chiller

I'll throw in my vote for the Killer Chiller. When I was running the stock KB HE I would see 135 F driving around on the street during an 85 F day. Switched to the Killer Chiller, no other changes and the temps dropped to 104 on the same temp day.

killer chiller no other thing compares. Getting bigger intercooler tanks just slows the heatsoak and makes it that much harder to cool up once it is hot. The heatexchangers with fan work but once it gets heatsoak it is hard to drop ur iat's. The killer chiller is the only one that really but really cools your water. It is perfect for the street unless you want to stop and put ice every 15 min or so...

I have a Canton battery tray mount ice tank for at the track. Killer Chiller looks like a great way to supplement that also!! And it would help on the street...till you smash the gas....remember the A/C shuts off while throttle is smashed to WOT.

The only real fault that I see on the killer chiller is the ac blower itself. A friend of mine is wiring it up so it works without the a/c blower so it really really cools down the water since it is not cooling the air.

Thanks for the heads up and I have to say I have been thinking about this for a little bit but at the same time the AFCO is proven to decrease IAT's but by how much I will see...

It will decrease but not by the same margin as a killer chiller. With the killer chiller the water actually gets COLD.

I don't disagree with you but I would like to seem a comparison b/t IAT's w/ the two but I doubt anyone has done it...

just think about it... outside temp 90F how cool do you think that is going to cool with the upgraded heat exchanger now think about how cool your a/c works under 100F degree and think of that cooling your water.

Still would be nice to see actual testing comparing the two. Just becuase something is suppose to perform at a certain level doesn't mean it always does.

Thats 100% correct, this days with all the deceptive marketing you can't trust any ad nor any magazine whatsoever. But I will tell you this I have touched the water on a lightning with the killer chiller and the water was cold, Very cold. It was around 78f outside I know that something that the cooling factor is the outside temp I doubt can beat it.

I will tell you this on the other hand, I know the kc will get the lower water temps with both on. What I would like to see is a comparasion on like 5 pases in 5 minutes to see how which one really works under real street conditions.

See I would like to see some real world testing as well....

I do not want to come across as bias toward aftermarket H/E but to be honest this is the first time I've heard of the Killer Chiller. Can you run it along with an aftermarket H/E????
