MSD Two step for the 5.0

You would be cutting the fuel the same time the 2 step is cutting the spark. What I need to know is if the ignition is completely cut off to the specific cylinders during the two steps operation, or, if it just retards the hell out of it. If it completely cuts the spark, then, you could cut the fuel to that specific cylinder in the sequence and it would just be a dead cylinder.

If it were possible and better, it would be included with the directions as to how to wire it up. 2 steps have been around for a minute. :thumb:

Are you sure that it is a 100% fuel cut? If I hit my fuel limiter when doing a burnout it has a nasty backfire. Can't imagine that being safe under boost.
Hitting the limiter on my car never has caused a backfire. Perhaps the 2011 operations are different than the 3v's?

I know.. I used one in 2001 with my Electromotive TEC 2 powered turbo Notch. ;)

Just because it's possible doesn't mean that MSD would include it in a 2 step ignition box.

I ordered 5 of these direct from MSD..
I am going to throw one on my car for a better write up.
