I have a 2011 5.0 with arh headers, steeda cai,x- pipe, borla s type mufflers, sct jon lund tune.one piece drive shaft lca,uca qa1 adjustable shocks front sway bar off. Now saying all that i cant get the car to hook. Im running 275/60/15 mt et street radial race star skinnies in front. Maybe im leaving wrong with these tires i droped my pressure down to 14 pound the track was pretty decent raceway park nj did good burnout left at 5000 kind of dumped the clutch the best i ran 11:57@120 1.70 60 ft i had my shocks at#5 setting i know its got more in it can sombody give me some tips on launching with my setup?

what gear burnout are you doing? how much MPH are you getting them spinning?

did you set your pinion to ~ -2*?

what did the tires do when you dumped? hook/spin?

You should be able to leave at 6500 or so. I'm not sure what you mean kind of dumped, just side step it. Poor prep maybe? If your UCA is adjustable, you need to set your pinion angle.

Sounds like you might have done a poor burnout. Put it in 2nd or 3rd (depending on gears) and roast them.

Second gear burnout FTW!!! 1st gear burnouts dont give you enough wheel speed to get the tires sticky and up to temp.

Yes I was doing a 1st gear burnout for a while and thought it was going good, Then I tried a second gear burnout per stkjock's advice and "dropped that bitch" at 5k and I learned the meaning of the word HOOK.

yes on 1.6s

you do not want the shocks on full soft, too much squat then, you'll have to play around to see what works. I'd start 4/3 clicks from full hard and adjust.

also, try to work on your posting please - they are hard to read
