Quick question. What do you do with the oil that is in the catch can? do you pour it back in or does it become trash oil after that?

Thanks for all the great comments guys.

There is a major misconception on PVC systems and how air flows. It doesn't only flow one way, you WILL get oil from both sides on any car. There is not an "in" side and an "out" side.

I'm being honest in my statments about 99% will not need one on the driver side, but 30 minutes on the road course and I filled mine up :)

Depending on how you drive, the RPM range your in and how much your at WOT changes air flow back and forth in the PCV.

High RPM and a closed throttle will cause the driver side to draw in PVC air/oil into the intake.
So don't get caught up in PCV systems only work one way.

Most engines will get most of the oil from the side with the PCV valve, but oil will come from the other side as well.
03 Cobras get most from the driver side, but I've seen Cobras with oil "running" out of the intake tube on the passanger side.

So it's not just one side.

Thanks and sorry for the back orders again. We are machining them as fast as we can. We should be back in libne next week with stock.

I am hitting the track in may. I will confirm what jay is saying. That is why I bought both though. It was obvious by by visual and smell to me that oil went through both sides when I inspected the factory hoses I took off.

The new catch can for the drivers side. Will it fit with the sound tube installed on the JLT cai? Does not look like there's any room for it.

Looks like it would be pretty tight, I'll try it

I've had mine on for a little over 1000 miles and have collected about a teaspoon of oil so far.

Also, as others have said, this is a very nice, well constructed piece and well worth the money. And if I can install it with no trouble in a couple of minutes, anyone can.

Tucker,

What's the ETA looking like on the backorders being filled for shipment on new orders? Looking to place an order for one the end of April.

Separators are being machined and shipping weekly.
We have so many orders it's hard for me to say, but it should be about a week or 2. Because we work off of a list, it's beest to get your order in and lock your spot. We don't charge until it ships.

Sorry for the back orders guys, these are very popular
Thanks
Jay
