My old Poly V belt was starting to get old so I replaced it with a new one and now I have NO whine at all, I did before the older Gatorback Poly V belt but with this new one I get nothing but a whistle. It sounds like a intake whistle or a turbo, with no wine. I am still in my normal boost range so I dont know what the problem could be. I actaully bought my supercharger for the whine over HP, so any help would be great.

I read on some Terminator forums that the belt is new and gripping hard and to drive it some for awhile and the noise will come back.... Dont know if this makes any sense.

That's weird...no changes to the intake or anything? The whine actually comes out of the intake, the sound travels from the rotors, through the intake and out the filter.

I was installing a GT500 throttle body and come to find out it didnt fit with my saleen boot so I through the stock throttle body back on. But it sounds just like a air leak, but I have no loss in vacum pressure, boost or any other issues. This is a Poly V Quite Belt, too

LOL...I knew this one was going down hill as soon as I read the first post. Not for questioning the change in sound, but for the reason of purchase. :lol2:

Ahhh I knew I shouldnt have came on here, bunch of kids making ignorant post becuase they cant afford a supercharger and they go and buy all there parts used on here because they probably work at mcdonalds... Poor ass fucks. Go buy new or real parts, also dont be little bitches like that in real life or you will never move up in rank at mcdonalds. Time to mature little teens
