It's the variable cam timing. Each head's timing is independent so you get what you are hearing. I like the way it modulates; sounds like the pair of 454 big block Chevys in my dad's boat!
Apparently Brenspeed has been secretly working with Comp Cams in to develop these NSR cams.
There is a video on their site where you can hear the idle. They sound great, but I will wait to see before and after dynos before making a purchase.
Brenspeed is coming out with their own custom billet NSR cams in April. They are called Detroit Rockers. Similar to Hot Rod cams but supposedly has better HP gains.
Would the FRPP Intake Manifold benefit me much over the stock intake manifold with my current setup plus planned NSR cams?
