Would the FRPP Intake Manifold benefit me much over the stock intake manifold with my current setup plus planned NSR cams?

My engine mods are:
SCT X3 Tuner
Steeda CAI with HF Elbow
Steeda UDPs
JBA Shorty Headers
Stinger Alxe-Back Exhaust
Planning on FRPP Hot Rod Cams or Brenspeed Detroit Rocker Cams

Note: Stock throttle body, charge motion plates, and heads - not changing these as $/hp gain is not good for N/A (based on my research).

What do you all think?

^ what are you talking about. First off, the Heads are better for your power than cams, perspectively. There are F/I setups just running ported heads and stock cams.

If you want to see the most out of your car N/A you should get ported heads, mid range cams, A frpp or GT 500 TB, Supporting boltons, and either charge motion plates or a JPC or FRPP Intake manifold. With some 4.10's.

I refuse to get into another manifold debate so I will sum it up like this. Consider an aftermarket intake manifold to be similar to a diet plan:

Your results may vary.

I lost a bit of torque down low with the frpp. But my car is always in the higher rpms lol... I cruise my car at 3000

Was that with a tune, or just with replacing the plate deletes with the frpp manifold?

I had a stock intake with delete plates, then swapped to the Frpp it lost like 5-8hp and torque down low around 3000 rpms but picked up 8-9 above 5500 on the stock heads and cams. Search for my old test thread.

also 3 lbs lighter then stock lol

The air fuel didn't change much at all I think the old intake air fuel was 13.3-13.4 with the new intake it was 13.4-13.5 So I didn't touch it.

Apparently Brenspeed has been secretly working with Comp Cams in to develop these NSR cams.

There is a video on their site where you can hear the idle. They sound great, but I will wait to see before and after dynos before making a purchase.

I have seen the ports of a 2009 Intake manifold. If your really not looking for F/I anytime soon then I say go cheap, cuz the way those ports look on the 09's can be removed and you could apply some plastic epoxy and use a dremel tool to smoothen it out. (the holes in place of those butterflies )

then just save up and once you decide on going F/I im sure there will be more dyno sheets on the FRPP intake and the C&L ones.
