Had a little free time this afternoon to whip these up and get 'em on the car. They replace worn chrome ones for weight savings in the ounces! Also on closer inspection found that in a previous time this car had sported Cobras... the faint outline is still on one side... :sigh1:
Piled it FULL of shit from my office for the change of jobs tomorrow! Regardless of the battery in the back, for being a hatch it sure doesn't hold much stuff... lol.
The wheels COULD work for a Bullitt but the color isn't even close and the grille is wrong. Pretty sure it's just a mule with some optional bits we haven't seen yet.
Now that car in actual DHG and with a open grille would actually look pretty god-damn good...
Picked up a new boost diverter valve for the blower, gotta put it in after work tonight in the dark... should be fun.. I want my damn garage back. Lol.
Love the rear end, love the side profile, the front end is what doesn't grab me and say Mustang. Just my opinion...
I'm sure I'll be in a GT500/350/278/Whatever it ends up being when it surfaces...
Beat on it a little bit lol... got stuck in traffic for an hour (which doesn't sit well it apparently) so once I got up on the freeway I opened it up and gave it a little hell.. love it! Just need to ditch the Flowmasters for some MAC's...
Replaced the belt for the blower only to find that the blower itself is actually seized. Praying it's simply the internal drive belt that Powerdynes are notorious for dropping and nothing more...
