Hello, After disconnecting the PCM and turning the key to the run position, the gauge cluster glows bright red. I will be replacing the PCM with a Holley unit. Fuel gauge seems to work and all other window, fan, etc seem to be functional. Is there a way to turn off this red/warning color ...

seat belt will not extend after removal

Hello - I removed my seat belts to install my rollbar. I would like to reinstall the passenger side belts for drag strip ride-alongs. I am not able to get the belts to extend again after being completely removed from car. Anyone else ran across this before? I did have to cut the two wires...

    Rear end " refreshing "

I recently picked up this style of bearing puller. It doesn't hurt the bearings as bad an if your careful you may be able to reuse them check the collar sizes though. I think the 8.8 had bigger carrier bearing than my 9 inch. VEVOR Carrier & Pinion Bearing Puller-

    Torque convertor nuts

3/8-24 tpi threads and 10mm 1.0 pitch are very close in appearance - I struggle with these a lot . Especially when mixing brake parts and calipers.

    Torque convertor nuts

I'm reasonably sure mine were 10mm 1.0 pitch. At least that is what the measurement were pointing to. -BP

    Torque convertor nuts

I recently put a TCI convertor on my 2010 The nuts TCI sent with the Torque Converter were a different pitch than the studs on the Torque converter or the adapter plate. Brad

    AJ1E Servo install

Yeah - I'm 75% sure it's cut as the o-ring was hanging down it the open passage, but still appeared to be in one piece. This side is the band side so there many not be any fluid pressure at this area of the servo rod..

    AJ1E Servo install

Thanks- I'll take a look to see... I did this with the trans out of car. I'm wondering if when the servo spring releases during install if the o-ring retracts to a spot where it can catch on the case - past a channel opening. Probably need to make sure that when the servo is inserted it...

    AJ1E Servo install

AJ1E Servo Install Question... When I installed the AJ1E Servo kit, twice it cut the O-ring when pushing into the case, the teflon cover was in place so I think I had that correct- Fortunately the kit came with a few spare o-rings but I'm pretty sure the one in the trans now is also cut...

    2010 4.6 3v Engine Wire harness source ?

An update .. I was able to push the pins out of the connector housing using a de-pinning tool. I added shrink tubing around each bare wire and reinstalled. A replacement connector is available from Napa but it does have more wires than required so you probably would end up de-pinning some...

    2010 4.6 3v Engine Wire harness source ?

There should be a difference between Auto and Manual trans harness. I can't tell which part is correct from their diagrams. I'll give them a call to see if they can determine which part number is correct for a 5r55 Auto. Brad
