    2009-2014 brake booster on 2006

Yeah I know I’ll have to get the 2009-2014 master cylinder to go with the 2009-2014 brake booster…my concern is will it work? With the 2005-2008 brake boosters being discontinued why am I not seeing more info on the 2009-2014 booster/master cylinder swaps on the 2006-2008 cars? I guess I’m...

    2009-2014 brake booster on 2006

I’m looking for a write up or anything really about how to properly swap the 2005-2008 brake booster/master cylinder/brake lines whatever’s needed to the 2009-2014 setup..if it’s possible. I actually had a 2009 booster installed (fit fine, shaft angle was alittle off) but the master cylinder...

Brake / Clutch Pedal assembly question

I don’t know if the pedal assembly is the same or not but I do know the 4 bolt pattern on the back of the brake booster is different on the 05-08 & 09-14. I just ordered the 09-14 booster and it didn’t fit correctly. I was able to get it to fit one way but then the master cylinder bolts didn’t...

    2005-2014 brake boosters interchangeable?

Ordered a new brake booster for my 2006 Roush from American Muscle and can’t seem to get it in. It’s advertised on their website for a 2009-2014 and I called before ordering and they said it would fit. The part number is IDR3V-2005-AA I can’t seem to get the for bolts to line up in the firewall...

Losing vacuum from fuel pressure reg

Update to post….ordered a new FRPP 62mm TB and it fixed everything. Car is driving much better. Hated spending the $$$ but seems to have fixed everything. No more sticking throttle, high revs, hanging shifts….hoping to finish tuning and get some #’s before turbo. FRPP looks awesome but I liked...

Losing vacuum from fuel pressure reg

Test drive was unsuccessful…grrr! Car did good 1st trip thru town then starts high revving again. I’m about to give up on this POS. Very well could be the BBK TB and the TPS is outta whack. Just put a new TPS on it. About to drop the $$ on a FRPP TB I guess. Bought the regulator about 2yrs ago...

    Can I reset TPS

Can I totally reset the throttle position sensor settings on my 2006? Just installed a new TPS fighting a “reving while driving issue” and I’d like to totally reset the system. The readings off (1.17 vs 1.2) and I don’t want to go thru all the BBK bs to dial it exact. I think I damaged the set...

    Hole in BBK TB

Tried the smoke test a few times and didn’t see anything. Thought I saw alittle something by the throttle body motor and TPS so I sealed around both of them with gasket sealer just to be sure but didn’t see anything definite really. Yeah it’s a weap hole, got ahold of BBK. Good help, quick...

    Hole in BBK TB

Called BBK, weap hole. Gonna temp seal it to eliminate as possibility. The (high idle/vacuum leak) issue has been there since start up. I noticed a lot of loose bolts ripping the intake out today. Intake and valve cover bolts were 70% loose. I’m wondering if the heat cycles loosened them or if I...
