    I bought done Alcantara material and had a local upholstery shop replace mine. They lightly sanded the old foam to remove the glue and cut and installed the material for $140. My car sits outside and the material looks new after 8 years! Still holding, not coming loose.

    My Detroit rockers do it too. There has got to be a way to keep the computer from messing with them. Idle is rock steady but lope comes and goes.

    Thx., that's kinda what I did:kma:; told them no sale unless I could talk to previous owner to learn of possible problems,mods,etc.. It hurt to walk away from that car, but we have to raise these dealers right.

    I looked at a GT500 today at a dealer and was wondering if there is any way to find and contact previous owner. Dealer wouldn't or couldn't help.

    I would think the cam overlap is playing a big part in letting the nasties through. I've never known anyone to pass a Sniffer test with cams that have alot of overlap. Maybe a tuner could offer up some help.
