If you car is an auto a better torque converter will provide the best bang for the buck. When I did mine , I picked up half a second at the drag strip.

I wrapped the last one and will probably wrap this one as well. But it did not burn the fan before i wrapped it the last time and it was closer to it than it is now.
The converter change took me into the 12's. I had cold air intake / 1 piece driveshaft / 3.73 gears / drag radials then added the converter and was running 12's. I added a Whipple 2.3L later and went 11.30's on about 8psi.
Picked the car up from fab tonight. As always Jason Zimmer's killed the fab work. Car is looking on point.

Honestly a converter is going to yield the best results for the least amount of work. When i did mine - i shaved a half second off my ET and it made it more enjoyable to daily drive. If you want to change gears go with a 4.10 or 3.73 . Neither is hateful on the highway with the OD in the...
