Dude... you keep bringing up this thread, over and over. This thread was dead in 2019. You ALWAYS have to have the last word, and keep making excuses while humble bragging.I hate to bring up a dead horse and provoke any confrontation with you Terry but today in other post's on this forum I was reminded of something related to this which you posted about me in the past that I felt you should be made aware of. Also the fact I'm running at Road America in a couple weeks reminded me of it as well. You've made quite a lot of fun about my driving ability and claiming how I'm so slow on track, and you also stated here that you do instructing and coaching, so here is a little eye opener for you.
As I've stated before I've attended BIR's Performance Driving School many times since 2012 and I truly believe they are one of the finest driving schools in the country, with some of the best instructors as well. One of the very first things they tell you in the classroom instruction is it is possible to get killed at 12mph. That may sound funny, but as Gary Curtis instructor there explains, "get on a bicycle and run into a brick wall at that speed and tell me how it feels".
Related to this I had a snowmobile accident in 1993 where I was thrown off my snowmobile into a 3ft tree stump at between 20-30 mph.
I hit head first and compressed two vertebra in my back which has left me Paralyzed from the chest down. I now have steel rods that run the length of my spine. I also broke my left shoulder, both clavicle and scapula, broke my right hip and have a pin and plate in my hip. Also broke 7 ribs, punctured both lungs, spent almost 5 months in the hospital recovering, and almost 2 years of in home rehab. And yes I do set off metal detectors!
So next time you go out on track and complain about someone running too slow, or make jokes about how slow spec Miata's are, try to think about this!
You went to a driving school. Yay for you. Guess what - if your check clears, they will take anyone. And you had an accident on a snowmobile. We get it, it sucks, and you've brought this up many times.
Also, I never "made fun of you", your disability, or anything like that. You took it as such because you have painfully thin skin and you are too easily triggered (remember when you said you would "knock my goddamn teeth out!" because we disagreed on a particular part's track worthiness??? Pepperidge Farm remembers).
You have had several epic melt downs on this forum. You suck at debating, and go off on completely random tangents - like you did here (the "bicycle into a brick wall" example has ZERO to do with picking suspension). That input is totally tangential.
You continue to peddle bad tech advice in EVERY SINGLE THREAD on this section and others. The KB magic matrix brace is just one example. You are famous on many social media groups for this magic brace silliness - and yes, there are memes. But I will NOT STOP REFUTING YOUR BAD ADVICE HERE, even if you completely wig out and threaten to kick my ass again. Because your advice is usually not just a little off, but completely in the wrong direction. Skinny 20" tires, heavy wheels, supercharged Mustangs, bolt on braces. It is all bad.
What I have done, and will continue to do, is to point out the obvious - after you have made thousands of posts giving tech advice for track folks: with the slow lap times you have posted, you shouldn't be giving setup or suspension advice to anyone. That is still true. Kenny Brown shouldn't be giving tech advice, either. Nobody cares what he did 30 years ago with a Fox Mustang - his "racing experience" advice is not relevant anymore, not on S197 and S550 Mustangs. Lots of people shouldn't be giving tech advice. If you are slow, how would you know?
I'm also going to have to start charging you rent for OCCUPYING SO MUCH SPACE IN YOUR BRAIN!
