Need a tuner in prep for a lito tune.

What modification(s) have you needing a tune? I'm currently working with Manuel (Lito) on a cam tune. As mentioned above, he's been great to work with. Currently waiting on the second revision.

2006 GT - BBK Long Tubes + Catted X Resonance — Anyone Convert to H-Pipe or Add Resonators?

Sounds great! How do the Bullitts compare (sound and volume) to the stock mufflers?

    Cams and timing

Here's a picture of the cams. I didn't find anything wrong with them upon inspection. Ran the phaser bolts in and the threads were fine, no scarring, etc. I'm starting the install tomorrow and will create a new thread for that. And to close the loop on the torque wrench… I went with a Quinn (3/8...

    Cams and timing

Great point on the cost of the wrench vs. the cost of a botched repair. Like Samos3 the torque wrenches I have now are Quinn. I don’t need much of an excuse to spend money on tools… you’ve got me re-thinking my approach.

    Lito affected by the earthquake

I’m currently working with Lito as I’ll be installing FP Hot Rod cams soon. Thought I’d pass this along for those interested. =========== Hi all, sorry for the delays. Where I live we had two 7.x earthquakes, one after the other, yesterday's afternoon. Followed by a few replicas. Me and...

    Cams and timing

@Samos3 thanks for the recommendation and for setting me straight. Clearly I have a reading comprehension problem, lol… 89 inch pounds, not 8.9! Smh

    Cams and timing

This has been a great thread and very interesting. It's also inspired me to go ahead and swap my stock cams for Ford Performance Hot Rod cams. It's something that has been on my list and when AM had a set marked down 50% for open box, I couldn't say no. While I have a couple torque wrenches, I...

    Buying a modified GT

Buying a modified car is a risk for sure. I just did it but it checked out/was done properly. Driving a modified car can also be fun, but coming from. Subie… even the V6 would be an upgrade. Life’s short, buy it if you like it and can manage the potential down sides.

Recently picked up a couple ‘just in case items’. 200 amp alternator and programmed sjb.

    C&L 4.6 3V Intake

I don’t need it (here’s mine), but curious why you’re selling. Upgrading to forced induction?

    Should I get a tune?

This is the part I think many mis-understand. The car (each car) has a preference or sweet spot of how it performs best. A good tune, finds this and highlights/enhances it. I recently got my son a 2012 GT, 6sp. It was his first manual car and of course had many questions on how to drive it...

05 Mustang gt driver side axle not going in far enough

Interesting problem. Curious to hear what your learn once the used axel arrives. Sure sounds like the one in the car isn’t the correct one. Maybe a diff year or model?

    Bump Stop Advice

Following. I think I need to go check mine as well. It’s lowered (bought it that way) but I haven’t put eyes on the bump stops yet.

My 2009 and I are new here

Welcome from FL. I have an 07 Performance White GT. Interesting comment about keeping the rear deck lid panel clean. I’m thinking about swapping this on mine as well and will keep this in mind! I recently added the Raxiom sequential plug and play harness. It was inexpensive (especially compared...

    Hanging idle in between shifts

+3 for a Lito tune. Mine feels like an old school muscle car rather than a modern one. Love how raw it feels.

Might be 05-09 for life for me

Agreed, I really like my 'new' Mustang (07 GT). The styling is spot-on and the performance is good enough for me (though I do have a few mods, because, car guy). Speaking of being old... both my wife and I consider this to be 'one of those new roller cam Mustangs', even though it's 20yo. Between...

    Back in the saddle again

Thank you! Yeah, that was a big part of why I bought it. I knew it was rare but I don’t know much about it and I haven’t been able to find much info about it online. Happy to have someone educate me.

    Back in the saddle again

Long time Mustang fan (past ponies: 1966 Coupe, 289, 4 Speed, 1991 LX, 5.0, Auto ). Wife had a 1967 Coupe, Straight 6 and the love of Mustangs is how we met. We recently got back in the groove when we got our son a 2012 GT, 5.0, 6 spd. I enjoyed driving it so much, I had to get my own...
