I specialize in s197 tuning and swear by HPTuners. Working with SCT was always such a pain so I moved on. Also canned tunes are such a joke. Total waste of money. Doing a halfass job tuning yourself will get you better results.

I love the s197 but I don’t like how people build them. Big wheels, body kits, plastic lips, LED lights, big muffler tips... It’s not my style. I am wondering if anyone knows of builds that use 16” or 17” wheels and classic muscle styling or something more unique.

Anyone have tips on tuning the 5r55s? I use HPTuners but that shouldn’t matter I’m just curious what people are doing. I know everyone just buys can tunes but hopefully someone will have this knowledge so I don’t have to experiment too much.

If your v6 car is PERFECT I would get a wrecked COMPLETE copart GT for swap but ONLY if you are planning to upgrade the components before the swap. If the car is... meh.... I would sell and get a v8 car.
