    From my understanding, the diodes are only for the high beams. Your lights should work fine without the diodes. I would go without the diodes and see what happens.

    Ditto, they will sag in the middle. Tint the rear window is the first order of business. You can get your whole car tinted from around $150. It will look nice, keep your car cooler, and prolong the life of your interior.
