Hey guys, I'm wondering if someone could give me some direction. I'm having an issue where when the air conditioner is on, the car accelerates. This only happens when I am driving. Whenever the car is idling, you can't even tell that from the rpm's that the air compressor kicked on. I did some driving around and it surges like 1k rpms in first. I basically have every bolt-on except for the throttle body on my car. I've been out of the game just enjoying the car for a while, so forgive me if I'm missing something. Is it the tune or could there be mechanical failure involved? It's been like this since the day he tuned it. My tuner is a local guy who does good work, but he's at a lost on what to do in the tune to fix it. Who's does good tuning for these cars now a days? I have the mtf tune file if someone can help me.

LITO, a vendor on here, should be able to fix you up.

I don't know how accurate this is but it is my understanding that there may be something called driver assist. When it senses you are in like a parking lot situation, putzing around at idle looking for a spot, that it gives it a little gas to help you to keep from stalling out. I have an auto and sometimes idling through a parking lot the engine rpm's increase and the car wants to pick up speed a little. Not like it's gonna take off or something but just enough for me to apply some light braking.

Thanks. I PM'd Lito so I'm going to see what he has to say / offer. It's a manual, so idk if that makes a difference. However, the driver assist seems like something to look a, though I can be going 40 and it happens.
