Anyone know what I need to do to make it work on my car (07)? Do I need to convert the Whipple to the 07 style cooling or vice versa?

I've seen the 05/06 move to the 07, but not vice versa. I'm trying to figure out what the physical difference on the supercharger is.

As far as we could tell, its just the cooling system. PM 96blowncobra, he is the one buying my kit and he has done the home work on it. Your just updating the cooling system on it to make it work on the 07. Those kits for the 05-06 use a different crossover and billet spacer to make it work, everything else is the same.

Thats what I take from it, we read my manual front to back and thats the only thing we seen that was different. He was able to update his for under $100 and thats for all the parts he needed including hoses. If he sees this maybe he will chime in and let you know what he did.l

The only difference between the 05-06 and the 07-09 is the coolant crossover. There is a thread buried somewhere in this forum from about 6 months ago that states it all.

ok eagle, i'm not sure if you have this all
sorted out or not, but here's how it looks
to me.

to have the cleanest looking engine bay, you
would want to maintain your 07+ cooling
system.

the way i see it, you will need:

07+ whipple coolant crossover
07+ coolant neck

if i'm wrong hopefully someone will
set the record straight.

The '05/06 and the '07+ use the same crossover supplied by Whipple. The '07s don't use the (also supplied) spacer. See step 63.

That's what I was thinking, thank you for confirming that. So basically for peace of mind, buy a new thermostat to replace the used one and ditch the spacer and all should work well?

Getn serious, eh?!?

'bout time!! :thumb2:

Someone around here has to :stooges: PM me with any more questions Chad, sorry I didn't get back to your last message!
