06 gt convertible back power window problems

My driver side back power window goes up or down only a little when I press the switch. I have to press the switch three times to fully open or close it. Passenger side is fine.any ideas thanks

I think he’s referring to the rear quarter window on a convertible.

Back Power Window?

Convertibles have an extra set of windows. I happen to have a custom factory option convertible window switch panel in my coupe. I rigged the up function on the extra switch into my trunk release.




As far as the OP, have you opened up the panel and checked out the mechanism? Sounds like it just needs a good cleaning/maintenance. Either that or the motor is getting weak. Check your wiring too just to make sure you have good continuity, could be a voltage problem too.

You may need to do a window reset, just like on the door windows when they are out of sync
