You have the early parts. Late '12 would be 12/08/11 and later.

Here's the break down:

03/22/2010 - 12/07/2011, is part number BR3Z-6108-F (original piston).
12/08/2011 - 02/26/2012, is part number BR3Z-6108-FB (unknown piston).
02/27/2012 - Present, is part number BR3Z-6108-FC (upgraded).

So did you ever get the BR3Z-6108-FB (unknown piston) in to compare?

This made me think about when Ford revised the short block in '93...going from forged to hyper-u-crack-em pistons.

Lol, my 95 GT ran 11.6 on 15 lbs of boost with the stock short block and those hyper-u-crack em pistons you refer to.

Lol, kids!

I had a turbo '93 Cobra that went 10.8@128 on about 17lbs with the stock longblock. Those hyper pistons work just fine as long as there's no detonation.
