I ordered a custom steering wheel that comes with an LED screen that transmits obd2 info. I’ll need a 12v power source that comes on and off with the key for it. Tried using the search function and Google to no avail other than something about an extra pin on the clock spring. Anyone know of a write up or have a video/pics of what I’ll need to do when it comes in? TIA. PFAIMG_7527.jpeg

Look at the instructions for swapping in a newer steering wheel.

There is a 2nd set of pins in the clock spring used for audio control that you could possibly feed a 12v source.
Not sure of the current draw on your wheel and what can be safely sent through the clock spring.

For anyone else needing to do this it is done with (2) WPT-1242 connectors in the blank slots in the clock spring. I used the wire closest to me sitting in the seat on the bottom wpt connector and the right pin on the wpt connector that goes on the front of the clock spring. I sourced the 12v using an “add a fuse” in the 5amp circuit located on the bottom middle of the kick panel fuses.
