13-14 factory blackout panel for 10-12!!

ok, so i bought a blackout panel off of a 13. I realize that we don't have the clips and stuff precut in the 2010-2012 decklids as the 13-14's do. so i will just trim those off and install with double sided tape after of course removing my faux gas cap. the question is can i put my faux gas cap on top of the 13-14 hole for it? unfortunately the panel did not come with a gas cap on it just the groove cut for it. any info will help thanks

No it wont fit. The 13-14 faux cap is different, but can be bought for over 100 bucks.

well i got it all together now guys, i just removed the one on my 2010 and popped out the center ring that says ford and the middle piece that says GT and put them in the hole on the panel and it looks good! just some 3m double sided tape and all is well

Scott he wasnt questioning whether or not the 13 panel fit, he was asking about the 11-12 faux cap fitting on the 13 panel. Pay attention man, lol.

well the gas cap did fit, i just removed the center piece and the chrome ring and stuck them in the panel..
