I have a guy interested in my GT500 18x9.5 wheels and he has a V6. I'm not sure what size wheels came on his car but he did tell me that he currently has 18x? Shelby Razor's. Is he going to have an issue by putting these wheels on his car?

My car is an 05 and came form the factory with 17x8 wheels and I have had the Shelby wheels on my car and everyhting was fine except I had a small rub when backing up at full steering lock on the front.

Thanks -

No issue whatsoever.

Although, as you've experienced, if you turn the wheels really sharp, there could be a small rub. There's a steering limiter kit available to prevent that.
I run those same-sized wheels on my 'former v6'.

Ford Racing has this to say about GT500 rims on non-GT500 vehicles:

Note: For vehicles with 16" wheels from the factory: -installing 17" x 8" wheels, use steering stop 4R3Z-3932-BA -Installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory: -installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA

My 2007 V6 came with factory 17" wheels. i am now running 20x8.5 with no rubbing at all. Im also lowered 1.6 in front and 2" in the rear. Dont know if that helps or not? Im new to the forum.
