That's what makes us all different. Just like you may or may not like Chicken some might love it. Just like you may only like Budweiser others may like Corona.

Just like some of us like to Race the cars others prefer to Show them. Some like Ducktails, some like the factory spoiler.

Different strokes for different folks. I am not afraid to show i run 20's and could care less what anyone thinks about it. If you do not like them that is your choice just like it is mine to run them and like them. But if you do not like them sometimes it is best to say nothing at all than to bag someones choices.

I get so sick and tired of the So Called "Mustang Purists" bagging on those of us that choose something other than what they like for our cars.
Yikes... someone is a little sensitive today. Have one of these >>>> :bigbeer:

I never bagged on anyone for running 20's. But it's a fact that this board is the most performance oriented of any S197 board, and the majority of members here run 18" or lower. That's what I was getting at.

I knew I should have said something to you about not implying you were bagging on anyone. I had a feeling it might comes across that way. I in no way meant it like that towards you. I was just quoting what you said as a reference.

Naw not sensitive it just gets old hearing that stuff. I did not mean anyone here as I have never seen it here. I was just making a generalized statement about some so called "Mustang Purists"

And thanks for the beer offer but i do not drink

My opinion.... it usually only counts when I talk to myself but I love the look of 20's and I was so glad that they came out with a drag radial for them. If it helps for the street then great and If I wanna go to the track I know that for the best performance I will need an extra set of tires and wheels for that. Remember...... your not supposed to race on the street anyways! lol just kidding. its all an opinion on what you want and what you like. Im just glad that I dont get bashed on here for haveing 20's because everyone realizes its a personal choice.

The main reason I was asking was, cause Im needing to make a choice on the 18s or 20s in which size will look better with that Im going to do with the car. The car will only see the track if it goes to dallas or houston, other than that it will be a "nasty" weekend car!!

Plans for the car is:
Single turbo kit to achive close to 475-500 rwhp
Cervini Eleanor kit
Upgrade brakes
Upgrade suspension
Bigger wheels
Upgrade cooling system (way hot in TX)
Repaint car black with flat black stripes

Choices for the wheels are:
18s

or
20s

I like those 18" wheels you posted. For some reason they look better than the 20's even though they are almost identical. Maybe it's the spinner i do not like on the 20

You could always go 20's for everyday use and then use the stock wheels with some bigger meat on them for track. I think Nitto actually makes a 20" Drag Radial now

As for my tire sizes 255 /35 /20 on 8.5" rim up front and 295/ 30 /20 on 10" rim out back.

Shawn[/QUOTE] These are the size I just ordered . Have the factory 18" Polished bullitts, but getting some Black Chrome 20" bullitts. Will post some pics when I get them.
