exactly what I said.. And very true

Except both of your thoughts aren't always true. Again, I'll point to my example of having a faster, more unique Mustang than a GT of the time period for approx. half the price.

That said, I sold the V6 and bought a Cobra. Then another Cobra. Then the 06.

exactly. And the foxes are lighter then the new edge cars. I guarantee the 2000 v6 Mustang weighs at least 3200-3300 w/o a driver.

You sure talk a lot about things you don't know. Curb weight for the 1984-1986 SVO was 1403 kilo / 3093.1 lbs

Have at it. Are you really going to argue with the published spec sheets?

don't believe what you read. Have you actually weighed your car? I know better. Your v6 was NOT 3000 lbs no matter how much you say 'you read it so it has to be true.' The SVO was way lighter then your car anyway.
And your v6 was half the price of a GT? huh? Dreaming again.. Where do you come up with this stuff?

Are you really going to try to tell me how much my car cost? Hint. I paid $2200 for it back in 2008. when everything was said and done, the total was under $6k. At that time, new edge GTs were easily 11-12k for one in good shape.

You must really not like the fact that a v6 can be quick.

You should probably call Ford. I guess they don't know how much their cars weigh either.

Hmm let me see, its what I could afford (college student here) still looks cool, I can get it sideways if I wanted, insurance wasn't as much ( accident on record so yea lol) and my man hood is so freaking big I don't feel that I need to compensate with a bigger motor.

What about those who spend the money on a Premium package V6 instead of buying a slightly basic GT? Their intent was to make the V6 as fast, or faster than the V8. Why not start with the GT? Insurance was not a factor, nor was the price, because the '11 V6 Premium was purchased new. That right there, that is the shit that I don't understand.

Well, if you want to bring insurance into this matter I bought a 2009 V6 Premium Appearance Package that was similar in price to a base GT. The Insurance on the V6 was $3,000 a year while the V8 was $6,000 a year with a non moving violation on my record and no accidents and 4 years of driving.

With the V6 I was able to get the Shaker 500 with Navigation, a pretty good looking car IMO, a leather wrapped steering wheel not some cheap ass rubber one, a nicer dashboard instead of a black chunk of plastic and more creature comforts and features. Not to mention it looked better then a GT IMO.

Man the car used to look so clean. I'm not a fan of body kits. But what cams did you have in that video of you with DRTY SXY license plate?

Virginia state troopers do not like 4" cowl hoods lol. Ford racing hot rod cams
