Hi I’ve got rebuilt a 2008 Shelby GT500 Super Snake 725hp but I’m being told by a turner guy that I need to upgrade my injectors and cold air intake
Is this right or is it just fine the way it is?
Thanks Garry

Welcome to the s197 forum.
Who is the tuner ?
What injectors are in the car ?
SAI conversions come with upgraded CAI's, a pic of the engine would help..

If you're sticking to the current setup, the stock injectors and cold air intake should be fine for the 725hp. However, if you're planning on pushing more power, upgrading both the injectors and CAI would help.

A better cold air intake helps with airflow, especially if you're adding mods like a larger supercharger pulley. Bigger injectors are needed if you're adding more boost, as the stock ones may not keep up. It depends on how much power you want to make.

Hi guys I’m still trying to get this thing to run but I think I’ve worked out the problem
Stuck injectors
So I’m going to replace them but what is the size I need
I’ve managed to get hold of it’s old turne file and specs it say it sits at 818 hp so what injectors do I put in it
I’ve also been told that I should put a new bigger cold air intake as it is use a Mafia to trick the ECU
What spark plugs are best and should I do the coils at the same time?
Do I need to take the Kennel bell super charger off to do the injectors?
Thanks for any help
Cheers Garry

Garry did you get your ECU issues squared away? I saw your post about using a later build ECU in your Super Snake. All is well?

When the vehicle was built, parts selected are matched for that engine combo. Did you change something? If not, find another tuner.
