2009 shelby wheel size's

what is the widest size wheel you can fit on a 2009 shelby with out the tires rubbing the finders or shocks or how hard would it be to relocate the shocks??


i want a 2009 shelby but if i can fit some meat under it for traction then im gonna go with an 03 or 04 cobra

you can fit 315s for sure, IIRC some one had 335s on it, however my memory is a biz fuzzy on the 335

You can get a 315 in the back, but thats about the limit.

You CAN get 11" wheels to go back there...

Frankly its a LOT easier to get 315's on an 03/4 than the '07+. 335's on an '03/4 isn't hard either, but you'll have to roll the fender lips.

295's seem to be the practical limit on the new car, but I'm running 285's on a 10" on my 04 and can't say that my 315 Nitto DR's really had *that* much more traction on the street, so I really don't miss the size.

I'd just run a stickier tire, even in the smaller size. Don't let the tire size determine which car you buy. Drive each; they're totally different. The only thing closely relative is the driveline having a similar feel.
