I am almost finished swapping my new motor into my 2010 gt. I am trying to figure out 1 connection on the engine harness and was hoping someone can identify it. On the passenger side in the front of the motor there is what looks to be a ground strap coming out of the main connector just after the ac compressor connector. Can someone tell me where it goes?

Just looked at my 10 GT, don't see anything directly near the ac compressor connection. There's a ground further up the harness that goes over a stud coming off the head, that's about all in that vicinity I can see. A pic of the strap in question would help identify it for me.

Thank you for looking for me. I will be away from my car for several days so I can't take a picture yet. If you grab the harness that plugs into the ac compressor and follow it there should be a strap with a ring on it. I thought maybe either starter or ground

So the starter has 2 cables, one from positive battery terminal and one ground. Is that I correct because I noticed our starter has 3 terminals and I only have 2 connected.

Just looked a little deeper, it's for the motor mount. It also calls it out in the wiring diagram ground distribution chart. I believe it's the ground connection for the battery, so kind of important lol

Thank you very much for looking. What does the starter wiring look like? I believe it is just a two wire connection am I correct? These are the last connections I have to make before first startup.
