2010 Mustang GT Defroster

Hey Guys. Has anyone had an issue with the front defroster switch light not coming on when pressed? The defrost works but the light does not come on anymore. The engine revs a little higher when its on, but it does it also with the AC turned on. Any ideas?

Front defrost turns on the AC regardless of what temp setting you have so that is normal. The light not turning sounds like the light burned out since the AC is still kicking on. Does the air still come out of the dash and is it still cold when set to cold or warm when the temp is set to warm? If so, the light on the button is out.

If the air is not coming out of the dash, the light not coming on may be indicating there is a problem with the vent actuators.
