If you only knew how much of what I just said is a joke, the 5.4 especially the supercar 5.4 is the top of Ford's performance line for stock engine IMO. 1,000 rwhp with stock internals and fuel system and just changing to a different power adder is unheard of, there is only one other engine that I can think of thats reasonably priced that can do that.

I got it, lol. BUT he is gone, so dont become him. Who would understand my love for the LT1 if you were pinked. lol

i grew up chevy. LT4 FTW.

I prefer the LT4 to an LS1 stock for stock, it took mods to make an LS1 as nasty and throttle responsive as an LT1 or LT4. By the same token, the 4.6 Termi motor seems much more snappy and throttle responsive than the 5.0 it too has the LS1 feeling smooth gradual torque band.

When i say LT1, i dont necessarily mean LT1 lol. Its alot more than that now. Id love to find an LT4 vette, could be so much fun.
my dad had a 96 GS and a 96 40th. outside of the motor, i didnt really like them that much. i much prefered his C5.

LTx make it easier it encompasses both engines.

I was supposed to buy an L98 C4 as a fun summer car, but the trans blew in it on the test drive. So I waited and got a much nicer C5, the C4 was strong up to about 4,500 rpm and then it fell on its face.
