2011 5.0 vs 2006 M5 sedan (500HP)

Just something for debate......drivers race or M5 kills the 5.0 up top? FYI,M5 is 4K lbs.

Far as I know the M5 pulls harder up top than the 5.0. Better racing from a dig.

A little more specific,2011 CAI,tune,gears and full exhaust. M5,stock to make it a tad even. I know that M5 is built for up top so that's a given from what I was thinking.

True,just kinda curious since a guy at work picked one up from a dealership that my buddy sells at. Dude got butt raped IMO. They paid $31 and sold it to him for $38,I could have had it for $34 but was a day late.

I got into it with a BMW Alphina B7 the other day. Up to 105mph starting from 70mph, he was at my door and inching ahead steadily. By the time we hit 115, he flew past me. That car has 500/512 and comes in at almost 4900lbs. Once it gets past it's own weight, that fucking thing is a BEAST. He was the one who honked at me and he did the 3 honks to go. The only thing that got me the jump was my downshift to 3rd and power shift into 4th. With my mods, I'm putting down 410/383.

IMO, that M5 is going to eat your lunch.

The Coyote is a great motor. The 5.0 in the BMW M5 is world class. 500HP and an 8250rpm redline. In my opinion this is where Ford could take their 5.0 in the future. Plus, BMWs are much better aerodynamically than Mustangs when it comes to high speed.
