Stock pump with TSS gears yes.

It's not just reported it's 100% true 7750rpm is the factory hard code. For your other question,

i was just talking about this (the cpu being unable to allow revs past 7800) the other day. and now im extremely curious...how?!

whew...just read the write up on youtube...RGR shortblock etc. thats some serious $$. but JPC says the stock shortblock can turn that kind of rpm (8200)? im assuming one would need ported heads? or at least the BOSS intake? so curious as to how you guys got past that rev limiter.

Nope, that was the main point on this Chris. This is not a Boss ECU it's a 2011 GT's
