So I am just curious, are you ever going to get back to me regarding the insurance claim on the bumper you sold me almost two years ago? I am really curious to see how that turned out. What I *do* know is they originally denied the claim, but I got a call a while later asking me to verify information since you were re-opening it, or something like that. Since you never responded back to me via postings or PM's, one might think you took both my money and whatever insurance payout there was, if there was any (UPS, for whatever reason, returned the damaged bumper to him, so I don't even have a messed up bumper to show for my money).

Therein lies the problem with leaving people in the dark I guess, they assume the worst! Seeing your screen name just reminded me of this ordeal, so I just thought I would ask, for shits and giggles of course.

they sent me a bumper back that i believe u cut some pieces out of lol.. when i brought it back like i was instructed to the said i shipped it that way.. I was like WTF ... i tried explaining to them that it was new. then the lady at the depot said we would never ship a box like this and every package has to be opend and inspected before shipping.. basically a big circle jerk.. we both got little out of it. u got some brake ducts and i got about 50 bucks since shipping and insurance was just under 200.00 .. needless to say i dont ship shit with them anymore. Fed-Ex costs more but the insurance is easier to get i herd..

How is your car coming? i remeber you were putting a GT500 hood extractor in.

Yeah, I did the GT500 extractor..first one in an S197, and also the first one installed off center, hah. Got a new hood to re-do it but had a rough year for 2010 and didn't do a thing to the car. Hoping to hack in to the hood again soon though, amongst other things.

Anyway, GLWS..and thanks for finally clearing that up.

I have a question for you....

I see that you have the car on ebay for auction that includes the supercharger, BUT you also have this FOR SALE thread on the supercharger.

Shouldn't it be one or the other, because if you sell the blower in this for sale thread and there is a winning bidder in the auction, that person won't get what they bid on and paid for and vice versa.

Just asking... I love the car by the way!!

Now THAT would be an interesting answer. When this thread was first started, I was seriously going to buy it as soon as he went down on the price a little bit. But some of his posts in the forum as well as unanswered questions like this, and the way he jerked DusterRT around, has made me forget even a great deal on this.

His reply in another thread, which is dated after he started this for sale thread, and now also considering his For Sale thread of the whole car, confuses the piss outta me. There's just too much going on with this thing for me to feel comfortable with having dealings with him.
