What bugs me about it the most is this was the next step in fords diagnosis. Why not just save everyone the hassle and replace the part, besides there is a tsb for it. I guess now I can start the future plans for it.

Supercharger?

Lito, I verified that I do indeed have vacuum going through the pcv valve.

Since replacing the pcv valve the car hasnt smoked once. I haven't had to add oil, which is nice. The car is running much better. All over a 17$ part.

Glad to hear man. :)

Hot damn James! I'm so glad this has worked out your issue! I'm seriously thinking of ordering one even though I don't have this problem. Better to be safe than sorry. Do you have the P/N handy?

Well I checked the oil today and its still full. Jlt oil seperator still barely has any oil in it. I've been driving it pretty hard these last 2 weeks, I wanted to see if it would burn oil, none as of now. It's a joy to drive again.

Good stuff man. I may go ahead and put one on for a little insurance.

Glad you got it worked out. I wonder why all the cars aren't effected like yours was? Do you think if you would have replaced the PCV with another 5.0 one it would have fixed the problem?

Im not sure, i chose the route that seemed to fix other cars that had the similar problem. I have a friend at work that is going to flow test both valves when i go back and see exactly what the differences are. That wont be soon since im out again because of a knee injury.
