Purchased the car used with the setup listed above. However, with 4.10 gears, it’s a bit too loud for me for daily driving. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sound/cold starts but it just isn’t practical for me/my family.

Ideally would like to have something that can get as aggressive/loud when I hit the throttle, but a bit quieter when cruising.

What are the best exhaust/axle back options? Looking for something <$1200 ideally (other suggestions are welcome as I may be able to find them used).

How much would putting the cats back on affect the sound?

I have pair of stock mufflers for sale if you really want to quiet it down some.

But stkjock is right. Exhaust sound and volume is very subjective so there is no "best" when it comes to personal preference.

I have Mac cats going to a Mac pro chamber and then borla axle back. No drone on the highway at 80 (haven’t paid attention to other speeds) and it isn’t bad driving it daily.
