2013 GT climate control oddity

I sent this video to a friend a few minutes ago, he has no clue what is happening.

Long version: I was driving, wanted to turn AC on, accidentally hit the defrost and power buttons at the same time. Immediately hit power because I was watching the road and thought I had turned it on and off again, and the fan freaked out. I replicated the problem while stationary and it turned on a part of the display I hadn't seen before, with numeric readouts on both sides of the radio, and displayed the outside temp at "00"

I know with my old VW, there was a similar feature where you could make the climate controls display useful (useless) data about intake temp, fuel pressure, etc. Is this also the case? That'd be nifty.

Cliffs: I have fat fingers, take shitty video, and break everything.

That's pretty cool. Some kind of secret hidden diagnostic setting. Push some more buttons and see what else you can come up with. Lol.

Next, you need to push these buttons in your radio:

UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, START

I did something similar awhile back, but couldn't replicate it... nice to see my car wasn't some weird oddity. haha

I tried to replicate this today. The defroster came on, that is it. Tried it several more times and couldn't get the same results as OP.

I got mine to do it today. It would be nice if it would display the temp that the climate is set to all the time.

Thank god other people's car's do this...i was freaking out a bit, thinking it was an early sign of my electronics having issues.
