2013's being built as we speak

i got a text from a buddy that works at the mustang plant. He text me yesterday saying the production of the 2013's had started. All those that placed an order hopefully wont have to wait too long.

Yea I ordered my car November 21 and they said I only had 2 weeks to place my order car was built December 19th and was one of the last 2012's built.

ask your buddy to find out what changes they made to the engine to prevent the #8 issue. Did they get the extra hp from re-tuning the engine or something else.

Retuning got the extra horsepower. I just asked a tech here at my local dealer.

Well, it is, depending. IINM the claimed horsepower for the GT is 402 on 87 octane fuel, 412 on 93.
