It isn't likely going to fail quickly, but it would be wise to make a bracket (the can has two tapped holes on top) and upgrade the fittings and lines to stronger bits, somewhere down the road.

Maybe a running design change...I don't have any threads tapped into the top of my catch can. I'll look at coming up with a bracket that clamps onto the body

heh...through random conversation I came to find out a guy I know's family actually owns Bob's...I would've gone that route but the JLT was bought and in transit.

Might give their axle breather kit a try. I don't know how much space it leaves for rear suspension upgrades and lowering (presumably why a lot are trunk mounted), and it appears to mount to the UCA? Now coming from BMWs I'm used to those bolts being single use (you stretch them upon torquing them). Is that the case for the rear UCA here too?

Or maybe I'm completely off base and it mounts somewhere else. Maybe someone who has it on a lowered car can chime in. I'm mainly concerned about clearance with a lowered car and a watts link.
