No offense but do you feel the same way about Ford Racing (or the Ford dealer network for that matter) selling Boss intakes and LS rear seat deletes, splitter kits etc?
If I was in the market for a Mustang you better believe it would be a Boss finding it's way into my garage, in my opinion it's simply the best balanced package available.
As long as limited edition cars have been around the parts that make them special have been available through Ford Racing or the normal dealer network for owners of other cars to buy and install on their own cars.
I could not even begin to guess at the number of Terminator, GT500, SVT Focus and Lightning body kits I've sold over the years.
Terminator Eaton swaps for N/A 32v cars, SRA swaps into IRS cars and IRS swaps into SRA cars, T-56 swaps into non-Terminator cars and the list goes on and on and on. What about the 2013 GT500 TVS that's been selling like mad to owners of older GT-500s?
I sold one shop everything from the radiator to the rear axle including wiring harnesses to convert a 2006 V6 to full GT500 spec.
It's just the way the car world is.
Like I said, the Boss will always be a Boss and it will always be unique and special regardless of any of it's unique features that people add to non-Boss cars.
