I may buy the same exact colors too. Looks smexy. Or I may invert them colors. Silver/Gray stripes on a black car, like the 13 LS.

All I know is that Ford has finally broken through and put large calipers on the rear and wheel/tire sizes that make sense.

I wanna hear the new engine note all across the board.

After seeing this unveil, I can conclude 2 things:

1) I am happy that Mustangs have caught up with the rest of the world, with IRS, a flat plane crank engine, magnetic suspension, etc.

2)There is no way to make an S550 look good. IMO, even the GT350 looks like a beached whale. But I can't wait to see what the refresh will look like.

I don't go around corners, but loving the look/sound of this one. Really interested to see how that new engine shakes out

I need to get used to the look also, especially the front. This is an improvement however. I am digging the new front fender. I like the profile view. The back looks good with a spoiler (like the RTR that was posted last week).

Nothing new there that Gmitch hasn't already spilled the beans on :roflmao: Sure does look damn sexy though and that sound! Finally a car with a decent tyre/wheel combo even if they are 19s the Pilot Super Sports will make a big difference on 10.5/11" wide wheels over the Pzeros. :bravo:

I'm interested to know what they mean by the GT350 specific sidewall and how much different they are to the regular MPSS tires. I'm going to guess something like 285/305 setup but why not go square all the way around?

The ones I have seen were running 305's all th way round. But now that they went wider on the rear rim I'm guessing 305/315. We can hope.

Yeah, I was thinking that would be on the cheap side too. 575-600NA HP doesn't come cheap.

15 G's right here, and it only has one cam!

I could put together a 600rwhp n/a ls7 motor for ~$7-8k. No need to spend huge money on MAST name.

Every serious track person I know with a zr1 swaps from carbon to iron brakes. They offer better pad choices, better modulation, and lower cost to track. Only down side is the added weight, but braking is better and more controlled.

No auto sucks. Do this car with a paddle shifted 6r80. I've said it time and time again, I will never own another 500+hp car without an auto. Manuals suck at that power level.

An auto, even a slow responding paddle shift 6r80 just doesn't seem to fit the intended goals/audience of this car. Going around a road course I would assume people would want quick, complete control of the trans

Good points, did not think of it like that.

Now whenever the fatcat's competition comes out, throw an auto in that and I'll buy two (ok, really I can't even afford one, but would be nice.)

Did you notice the cobra badge on the passenger side of the upper grill? Are they calling the GT 350 the Cobra and the GT 500/whatever it will be called the King Cobra or is the King Cobra name taken for the car Ford revealed at SEMA>

Anyone know?

Greg, I think they are just doing a throwback to the 1960's GT350 badges...

The erection is strong on this one. But I can only imagine the pricetag, probably out of reach for the blue collared working man.
