I want an R almost enough to make me part my 07' out. Almost. Gotta keep the 07' though.

I need to get back on the track with more frequency. The last 6 years off have been nice, but I'm ready again.

You have a REAL record pending....
What? Are you saying my Universe Record for the world fastest white S550 with a M122 blower, 20" wheels, blue trim and built on a Wednesday when it was 56deg out isn't real?:boxed:

You're right about that REAL record though. That will be this spring. Someone is going to get dick punched. :yeahrightangel:

How long until gt350 parts are retrofitted to gt's? I'd love to have the ability to go to a 305 with factory-like fitment up front.

Well, you would need:

-Fenders
-Hood
-Bumper cover
-Splitter
-Core support
-Steering knuckles?
-Dampers?

.....Just to get started.

We put 285's on our S550. They are almost touching the strut and the fenders needed to be rolled a bit. Big mods to get 305's under there.

This is amazing to me:

From post #760...

"The 5.2L engine was designed for 93-octane fuel, but will run on 87 octane with only a 15hp decrease in peak power." ...from an engine with 12.1 CR.

Right!!! I don't have the heart to put 87 in my wife's LEASED 2.0 ecoboost Escape

I would imagine they use the TiVCT to decrease the dynamic CR...?

Hmm....#1 on that list. Really? It isn't blatantly obvious as soon as you look at the car? That jumped right out at me the first time I laid eyes on it at the LA show--and it fixed the main aesthetic issue I have with it. The rest is interesting info.
