That's pretty much what I was reading on the TR-9007. Sounds like most of the transmission control is handled by a Tremec TCM.

Front end makes me think this....

What is that car ? Those front grille openings, although effective, look horrid. Lexus has the same butt ugly front grille opening. Now the 2019 GT-500 has copied them both.

Well I guess this squashes all the rumors of it being twin turbo. Looks like they're aiming for the ZL1 with this one.

The story I got was Ford uses ISO certified power adders, like EATON. So no whipple / centri's / turbo's....with the exception of the ISO certified ecoboost assy.

So what makes the difference between this vs. the turbos used on the GT and the other Ecoboost engines?

If Ford racing offers that engine/trans as a FRPP catalog item, be pretty sweet swap.

Don't laff, I got into a street race with their older version....at an intersection. Across the intersection, the main road merged from 2 lanes...down to just one. I barely squeaked past him, with myself in the curb lane. Right where the lanes merged, is also where a row of parked cars stood. Full bore into the back of a parked car would look pretty silly. The guy in the truck decided to really get on it, when the light turned green, and I thought he wouldn't have a chance. He had tq to burn. That was an eye opener. Same deal, 2 years ago, abt 100 miles north of me, with Mr Truck doing > 100 mph. My 3-4 shift in the auto is at 95 mph, then it no longer has a hard pull..when into 4th..with my 3.31 rear gear.

720hp, 650lb ft, curb weight in excess of 4,000lbs.

Those are numbers that were "leaked" months ago on some piece of paper full of grammar/spelling errors.

I don't believe anything on that paper

Most of what is on that leaked document vibes with the info and specs given from the Detroit auto show reveal. I think Ford has not released the actual hp/tq yet, because they are doing further testing/tweaking to release power numbers on par with the new Hellcat. Without a doubt, curb weight will be more than 4,000lbs, and I am thinking as released hp will be around 750hp. Yes, it will be the baddest factory mustang ever built, but it will be very expensive, and way too heavy.

How long till ford "flashes" the 6.7 power stroke to make 1005 lb-ft? It has 935 now.

I was really hoping that Ford was gonna be the first with 1,000 ft-lbs of torque from the factory.
I'm disappointed they're not but laugh at the thought of all the blown transmissions Dodge is gonna be dealing with.
