20x10 wheels Help!!

Hi everyone I am brand new to this so I apologize if I did not post in the right area. I have a 2011 Mustang GT and I would really like to put these Niche M147's on. Only problem is I really like the deep dish look and I hate the way the staggered front wheels lock so I would like to get the 20x10 on all four corners here are the specs not sure if anybody has any experience with these dimensions on their S197 but any help would be awesome. On the website it says rear fitment only thanks again

This is my 20x10 squared with a +40 mm offset. I am having to run a 12mm spacer up front to clear the Brembos I have on here but it can be done. Tires are 275/35/20. The main reason they say fitment in the rear only is due to the concaves of the front wheels mostly not clearing the brake calipers. IMG_0123.jpg

Do they make them in a 20 x 9 1/2? I have the 20" Roush wheels and run a 275/35/20 on all 4 with no spacers. You don't need a 10" wheel to run a 275.

Thanks for the response sorry for the delay. For some reason I can't open the pics. My car has the standard calipers. Do you think these wheels would clear that? Do the spacers make the wheel stick out real far? Sorry for the questions just want to make sure before I purchase.

10" wheels with ET40 is the perfect offset for the 05-14 Mustangs because it places the wheels just about flush with the fenders. I am unfamiliar with the particular wheels you want to run but plenty of 20x10 ET40s should work front and rear no problem. FYI I am running 20x10.5 ET45 with 285/35/20 all around on my Boss and only needed a 3mm spacer up front to clear the Brembos.

If the M147's are shaped like the Milans, the 20x10 with 40mm offset will fit perfectly.
I had the Milans with that exact size/offset, and I had tons of room between the wheel spoke and the Brembo caliper, and plenty of clearance against the strut too.

This was with 275/35/20 Nitto 555 G2 tires:

I'd still have these wheels if they didn't fit so flush in the back though.
I had 305/35/20 tires on the back and because of the bulging sidewalls and aggressive offset, the tires were hitting the fenders over bumps.
Had the same tires on a different set of 20x10 wheels and had no rubbing issues, but those wheels had a 48mm offset, so they sat further in.

Car was on Steeda Sport springs at the time, with 05-09 Koni Yellows, GT500 strut mounts, and the extra weight of the Whipple kit on the front. The whole combo probably sat about a half-inch lower than the springs would've normally been rated for ... so probably 1.5-1.75" lower than stock

I used the round shank end of drill bits..to measure the gap between rubber..and strut. That only works on drill bits with round shanks, and not 3 x sided shanks. A 275 works superb when on a 10" rim..esp on the front. Then it's stretched 1/2". Handling is more precise...and quicker. I tried a 275 on a 9" rim..on the front..and that combo is a dog's breakfast. Too sluggish, un-responsive, I hated it. A 9.5" wide front rim would be the bare min width for a 275.

The Niche Milan has 2 valve stems on it. The inner one is where the TPMS sensor gets mounted on.
Pain in the ass when it came time to retrain the sensors.

I can't say without the brembos. Your calipers won't be as wide, but they also won't push as far out towards the barrel. The closer you get to the barrel the more clearance you actually have. I think that with the 6 piston Brembos from the 2013-14 GT500 you may actually be able to get away with no spacer or a very mild one.

My car is lowered on Eibach Sportlines at the moment. A little over a 2" drop on the GT500's.

The tires won't affect the need for the spacer. I ran 285/30-20 on a 20x10 +48 and had space to spare. With the tires it all depends on what brand you go with as to how they'll fit. I personally run Nitto NT555 Gen 1's on my car, but I know that a Michelin would run wider typically. Agreed on the 275 on a 9". The last thing you want is sidewall bulge at all. My tires are a near perfect vertical sidewall on these wheels with maybe just a bit of a stretch even.

20x10 +48 with 285/30-20 Nitto NT555 at all 4 corners.

I have Nitto-555 gen1 in 285-40-18 on 18 x 10 rims with a 45 mm ET on the fronts..and required a 3mm spacer on the fronts... to get enough clearance to the front struts. ( no spacer required with a 275-40-18 555 / gen1 tire on the same 18x10 rim). Effective front ET is now 45-3 = 42mm. I suspect the issue is your rims are 2" bigger diam..and 1" bigger radius. As the rim radius increases, the sidewall height decreases a bunch. With a bigger rim radius, you are now further away from the front struts, since the strut slopes away at an angle from the rim / rubber. My clearance issue was just above the rim, like by about 3/4 - 1". That's where the max width of the bulge was. The 285-40-18 on a 18 x 10 rim ends up with a section width of aprx 290.2mm. Section width of course is just side wall to side wall dimension.

Even with a 3mm front spacer, there is plenty of excess thread left on the front oem lugs... which are quite a bit longer than the rear oem lugs. My front brakes are oem 12.4", 2 piston calipers. I'm only lowered 1/2" on the front. But I used steeda adjustable front strut mounts, with max camber dialed in...
which has no effect on tire to strut clearance, as they both camber over at the same rate. Car is a 2010, so it's old drive train and new 2010- 2012 body style.
Ultimate clearances can change with model year. The 10+ cars appear to have slightly more rear clearance.

Rear is lowered 1.25" inch. 19 x 10 rims used with 48mm ET. Rear tires are MPSS in a 305-35-19.
Everything fits fine. As far as (front) clearance issues go, the rim diameter / rim radius does come into play....at least as sidewall to strut clearance is concerned. Then you have the spoke to outside of caliper clearance issue, and also barrel to edge of caliper issue...... but that's a rim issue itself.

With the excess thread length on oem front lugs, I'm guessing here that a 5mm spacer is the max one can use. Any bigger spacer than 5mm would require the use of longer studs. ARP makes front ( and rear) studs that are aprx 3" long...they also make em in 2.5" length..which is midway between oem and the typ longer 3" arp stud you often see used. Never heard of the mid sized arp studs, until I saw em on steeda's website a while back. They might be an option in cases where you don't want a mile of excess stud thread sticking out.
