I have a set of 19x10 +41 Forgestar CF10's on order from Howey Industries, and a set of 285/35/19 Nitto Invo's waiting to go on them when they get here. I've been thinking lately of instead going with a 285/40 to fill the wheel well a little more.

There's a lot of you guys here running the 285/35 up front without issues... has anyone been able to fit a 285/40 in the front without rubbing? Currently on stock suspension, but plan on going Airlift within a year.

Thoughts? Or am I better off staying with the 285/35/19? This would be on a square setup, same size front and rear on a 2005.

How close in overall diameter to a 285/35-20 is that? I've seen people run that size in 20" up front before.

They're nearly identical, 27.9" vs 28". Cam is running the 285/35/20 on his GT500 with Airlift as well, which makes me think it will probably work. Hoping someone who has tried the 285/40/19 can confirm though to be sure.

I've run a 26.7" tall 315 tire on the front, and it was fine...I realize a 285/40/19 is 28" tall. +41 is kind of on the low side for a 10" front wheel...you may run into problems depending on your exact suspension/camber situation

I'm currently running a 275/40 19 on a 9.5 wheel lowered 2.5 inches on Koni Coil Overs. I had the tire grab the inner lip on a full turn a hair and after that it was scratching going over bumps. Rolled the fenders and it's been fine ever since.

I run 285/35/19 RE-11's on SVE drifts. The car is lowered on FRPP K-Springs. I haven't had any issues with rubbing, etc.
