29 x 10.5 slicks, You run em? Pics?

Curious if anybody is running a 29 x 10.5 slick on their cars without any cutting. If so what offset are you running and any pics? Looking at the MT stiff sidewalls which are actually 29.90" according to Summit. I did find one thread but wanted to get some recent feedback, http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72158

Reason I'm asking is the class I'm running allows "30 x 10.50 slick, 295/55R15 DR or smaller tires" so I'd be sticking with my 275 pro radials or trying a tall slick. It will be 1/8th mile and I would gear accordingly to make up for the height difference. I'm just curious what is possible with a tall slick if I threw the kitchen sink at it out of the hole...

was 9" wide though. The 29x10.5 MT's I'm looking at have a section width of 13.2 :/

I forgot Evo's green goblin car had 30x10.50 Hoosier radial slicks on it. I've also seen it recently with 275's though, wonder why: http://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/features/1402_2013_ford_mustang_gt_the_green_goblin/

Bud, I run the Hoosier 18212. Section width shows as 11.3", but that is on an 8" wheel, I run them on a 10". So I'd guess they are within an inch or so of what you're looking at. I don't think it should be any problem at all nor should the 30x10.5 radial slick. Holbrook's S/S car has wheel tubs for the 14x32" tires of course, but it appears the wheelwell openings are still completely stock even for that 32" tire.

The only person I know is Paul...PSFRacer. He had to cut the front and rear a little. The first time he ran them they cut his tire...then he trimmed.
I run the goodyear 29X11 on 10" with 6.5" bs with 1" narrowed rear but the rollout is 92 not 94 like the M/T so no cutting

Thanks guys. Less growth of a radial slick makes that tempting. Lots of money in gear and tire change to find out if it would gain me anything or not. Thinking 1/8th mile though the more I can pour on out of the hole the better off I am....

Agreed, I couldn't run them in any class I'd be in locally, but would still throw them on in a heartbeat just for testing/fun.

I run a 29.5 X 10.5W. W is for win. Or wide. I prefer win.

Here are some pics BEFORE I mini tubbed the car:

They fit, but you need to trim in the back (the black plastic) and I also trimmed a little bit of the metal up front. You need to preload your ARB correctly so you leave flat, and if you have adjustable LCAs, you need to center the wheel in the wheel well.
