295 on 18x9?

How well will a 295 wide tire fit on a 18x9 rim? I'm not sure what other factors come into play but the rims I want are all 18x9 with no option for the rears to be 18x10, will this compromise handling?

I wouldn't take a chance on a 295 on a 9 inch rim. Thats stretching it a bit, but thats just me. Im sure there are others that have done it but I would not do it personally just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, I really wanted a set of knockoff 2010 Mustang Gt rims, but they dont have an 18x10 rear so I guess I'm gonna have to find a different one. If anyone has any suggestions lemme know.

If you really wanted them and wanted to spend the extra money you can send them to weldcraft and have them widened. But thats an extra $200 a wheel to have them made into 10' rims. But thats only if you wanted them that bad in a 18x10.
