Thinking of switching my black bullitts again. I like the look of the chrome 2000 cobra r's. Has anyone seen them on our body before? Also, I was looking for a link to that thread that discusses the 99-04 offset on 05+ cars, if someone can post it that would be awesome. Also, how unsafe would 295/40's be on a 9" rim? Thanks.

275-40 on 9" x 18" wheels with 99-04 offset (26mm).

The 275 sits flush with the 9" wheel, you may be able to get away with a 285 and a little bulge but the 295 will be too much, the Bulge will cause the tires to fold over the wheel on hard cornering, doesn't look so good and can be dangerous.

This is a 275-35 on a 8.5" wide wheel, it bulges, it folds on hard cornering and it doesn't look so good. Going to be putting on a 245/255 shortly.

Most y2k R's are 9.5" wide (Ford and aftermarket). 295's will fit just fine on a 9.5" wheel. Not sure how the offset will look though.
